The Roots pump (or double Roots) is in series with a rotary vane or slide valve pump. Compared with single rotary vane pump and slide valve pump, it has the advantages of high vacuum degree, large pumping volume in high vacuum area, significant energy saving effect, small footprint, and automatic operation. Depending on the size of the vacuum pumped system and the ultimate pressure, the ratio of the nominal pumping speed between the pumps of the vacuum unit is generally between 4:1 and 10:1. The former is more suitable for larger vacuum systems and longer time than the latter. Work at lower inlet pressure or extreme vacuum conditions.
Widely used in vacuum impregnation and vacuum drying processes for transformers, wires and cables, and capacitors in the power industry. It is vacuum coating, vacuum smelting, vacuum heat treatment, vacuum oil filtration, freeze drying; ideal vacuum equipment for aviation simulation test.
